Post-production for agencies: Editing to delivery

Post-production transforms existing footage into a finished film. Depending on the project, this may include editing, color correction, sound editing, subtitling, and motion design. We support companies and agencies even if we didn't film the material ourselves.

A complete handover saves time and hassle

The material should include the communication goal, the desired length, output formats, and design specifications. An overview of the footage, relevant statements, and information on content that may not be used are also helpful.

Music, fonts, logos, and other supplied elements require a clearly defined scope of use. If individual files are missing or the audio is problematic, this must be identified early on. Not every problem can be fixed later without additional work.

First clarify the direction, then edit the series

For several similar videos, a first, agreed-upon master version can be helpful. It shows how the opening, rhythm, subtitles, and design work together. Only once this direction is established is it applied to further content.

A master version does not replace the content review of each individual film. Names, numbers, technical specifications, and on-screen text still require approval from the responsible party.

Actionable Feedback

Feedback should be bundled and, if possible, include a timestamp. "Please insert the approved product name at 00:24" is unambiguous. "Please make it more dynamic," on the other hand, requires clarification before any meaningful revisions can be made.

We distinguish between corrections within the agreed-upon task and new requirements. Additional statements, different dramaturgy, or new language versions may change the scope. Therefore, the agreed-upon feedback steps are included in the project workflow.

Final Delivery Details

The delivery list specifies final videos, aspect ratios, language versions, and, if applicable, separate subtitle files. Open project files, raw footage, and archiving are separate items that are not automatically included in every production.

Collaboration can take place remotely—regardless of whether your team is located in Cologne, elsewhere in Germany, or within the DACH region. For agencies that require additional support during filming, we offer our White-Label Production.

To submit an inquiry, please provide a materials overview, a reference for the desired design, and a list of required deliverables. Further services are listed in the Overview.
